What is December 1914?
In this single-player visual novel, you play a soldier separated from his family during World War I. You alternate between four simple minigames involving combat, supply deliveries, guarding positions, and prisoner executions, and nighttime breaks for conversation, food, and family photos. Killing lowers your sanity meter, while nighttime comforts restore it; low sanity drains color and distorts your view.
For you if...
- +you want a story lasting about half an hour
- +you prefer war stories focused on soldiers rather than heroics
Not for you if...
- −you want your choices to lead to different endings
What players say
