What is Rise of Venice?

Rise of Venice is a trading and strategy simulation set around Renaissance Venice and Mediterranean ports. You trade goods between cities, build production facilities and fleets, send family members on missions, influence Venetian politics, and fight sea battles as you work toward becoming Doge. Multiplayer supports up to four players over LAN or the internet.
