What is Subliminal?
This single-player, first-person horror puzzle game takes place in distorted memories of basements, water parks, and play areas, as your sense of self unravels. You reposition light fixtures and alter shadows to change routes, travel between memories through TV screens, and evade a pursuing creature.
For you if...
- +you like solving puzzles through experimentation rather than explicit guidance
- +you enjoy familiar places distorted by dreamlike logic
Not for you if...
- −you want a relaxed horror game without time pressure
- −you prefer straightforward routes over looping, shifting spaces
