What is Ru Lin Wai Shi Fan Jin?

This top-down, pixel-art adventure adapts part of Wu Jingzi's The Scholars and takes place in mid-Ming China. You play the impoverished scholar Fan Jin, finding food and money, gathering study supplies, and completing tasks for powerful local figures to advance through chapters.
