What is Once Upon A Tile?
An isometric, turn-based roguelite dungeon crawler in which you place rooms from procedurally generated dungeon decks, then your hero follows the shortest path through monsters, traps, treasure, and magical challenges. Objectives change between dungeons, while the story follows strangers trying to lift a curse unleashed by a lost wanderer.
For you if...
- +you enjoy planning routes by placing dungeon tiles
- +you prefer single-player, turn-based tactical puzzles
- +you like procedural dungeons and upgradable characters
Not for you if...
- −you want direct control over your hero's movement
- −you dislike luck affecting careful tactical plans
- −you prefer fixed dungeon layouts over procedural runs
