What is Fatermyth?
In this single-player RPG, a mysterious angler saves you from death and draws you into a game tied to your father's unfinished mission. You follow seven intertwined stories across Chinese mythology and history, complete quests and dungeons, and combine dice, cards, skills, and equipment in turn-based battles.
For you if...
- +you enjoy dialogue-heavy adventures with choices and failure states
- +you like experimenting with skill and equipment combinations
Not for you if...
- −you want real-time action rather than turn-based decisions
- −you dislike dice rolls influencing your combat options
What players say
81% of 537 reviews are positive
Players praise the individual character stories and artwork, while some find combat too easy to exploit. English localization feedback is mixed, with complaints about rough wording and untranslated interface text.
