What is Active Matter?
Active Matter is a first-person extraction shooter about an operative trapped in a time loop. In unstable zones where gravity and space can change, you fight hostile survivors and rival operatives, collect resources and loot, and extract before the zone disappears. You can enter PvE or PvPvE raids alone or in a small squad, then expand your base and upgrade your arsenal between runs.
For you if...
- +you want extraction raids with a PvE-only option
- +you enjoy cautious shooting around unpredictable environmental hazards
- +you like tackling raids with a small squad
Not for you if...
- −you want every map and objective playable without PvP
- −you prefer fast run-and-gun shooting to cautious movement
- −you want exploration without pressure to extract
