What is Break the Empire?
Break the Empire is a top-down fantasy action roguelite where you play a villain attacking the Empire. Each run takes you from a village toward the emperor’s castle along a changing route, fighting enemies and bosses with spells, skills, and randomized items. You choose from eight characters, and terrain affects combat: fire spreads on grass, water can freeze, and pits are hazards.
