What is The Shadow Over Cyberspace?

This free, single-player visual novel takes place in an alternate 1999, as Y2K signals the rise of the Old Ones. You create a character, search websites, hack protected databases, and investigate conspiracies while trying to preserve your humanity. Your decisions shape which entity rules the coming century.
