What is Alkahest?

In the feudal kingdom of Kadanor, you play a minor lord’s youngest son investigating unusual goblin raids near a county border. You explore castles, forests, and villages, make decisions, fight at close range, and mix ingredients into substances you can throw, drink, or apply to weapons.
