What is Epoch of Guardians?
A single-player defensive 4X strategy game in which you lead a civilization on a generated world. Choose civilization traits and council priorities, allocate resources to technology and city growth, recruit heroes, and use hex-based turn-based tactics to survive eight escalating attack waves; a campaign mode also adapts historical defensive wars.
For you if...
- +you like balancing city growth against defensive warfare
- +you prefer turn-based tactics on hex grids
- +you want generated worlds and varied civilization builds
Not for you if...
- −you want real-time action instead of turn-based strategy
- −you prefer campaigns without resource management or city building
- −you mainly want multiplayer competition
