What is Tachyon: The Fringe?
This space combat simulator puts you in a fighter as a mercenary caught in a conflict on the galaxy's fringe. You choose destinations and assignments, then fight around large ships and stations. Multiplayer includes team battles across multiple sectors, where you coordinate attacks to destroy the opposing base.
