What is Hacky?
A single-player hacking simulation played through a command interface in a cyberpunk underworld. You enter commands, steal data, and solve visual security puzzles during runs where a rising System Alert can lock you out. You choose when to escape with your loot and use CHIP DATA between runs to unlock operating systems, commands, and upgrades.
For you if...
- +you want keyboard-focused play that doubles as typing practice
- +you enjoy adjusting your approach around different upgrade combinations
Not for you if...
- −you expect realistic hacking based on technical knowledge
- −you prefer mouse-driven controls to rapid typing
