What is Angry Video Game Nerd 8-bit?

You play as The Nerd in a single-player, side-scrolling action platformer set in the AVGN universe. You shoot zombies and mechanical skeletons, slide beneath platforms, collect power-ups, and fight bosses. Endless Challenge sends you through increasingly difficult randomized rooms, granting helpful items or harmful curses after each boss.
