What is Murim Survival?

This 2D pixel-art survival roguelite RPG takes place in a ruined martial arts world, where Sowoon seeks a cure for the Madness afflicting him. You fight enemy waves in 15- to 20-minute expeditions, collect equipment and martial arts, and face bosses. Repeated use builds martial arts mastery, while quests at the hideout let you recruit companions.

AI was used to create initial drafts for some high-resolution illustrations, such as the main menu artwork. However, none of the AI-generated images were used directly in the final game. All final artwork was manually refined by the developer, pixel by pixel, and all pixel art objects and UI elements were created entirely by hand. AI was also used to generate and remix background music (BGM) to better suit the game's Eastern-inspired setting. All final tracks were personally reviewed and manually edited by the developer, including adjustments to their structure, timing, and transitions.
