What is The Fortress?

In this single-player, 2D game, you are a prisoner trying to escape a Lich's fortress. You choose from nine classes, advance through procedurally generated rooms, fight enemies, and customize your abilities and equipment. You also decide which characters to trust, and each death begins another attempt with a new prisoner.
