What is Fear the Timeloop - Prologue?
This free, single-player prologue covers the opening hour of a third-person survival horror story. As wounded Sheriff James Cooper, you explore an unfamiliar building, fight monsters, and search for useful items while trying to escape. You must treat your injury within fifteen minutes to avoid bleeding out and restarting the loop.
For you if...
- +you like unlocking abilities and revisiting previously inaccessible areas
Not for you if...
- −you prefer exploring without time pressure or repeated attempts
- −you want a complete story rather than a short introduction
What players say
84% of 309 reviews are positive
Players praise the atmosphere and the urgency of the time-loop premise. Recurring complaints concern clumsy controls and widely spaced save points that can mean replaying long sections after death.
