What is Saint Slayer: Spear of Sacrilege?

A 2D side-scrolling action platformer set in the Holy Roman Empire in 1698, where former soldier Rudiger confronts a priest stealing Catholic relics. You jump and fight through 21 stages with seven boss fights, unlocking upgrades along the way. You can also befriend animal familiars and choose whether to help or hurt people.
