What is Death by Scrolling?

This is a single-player, top-down action roguelite set in Purgatory, where you try to pay the Ferryman’s fare. You choose a character with distinct abilities and move through upward-scrolling levels, fighting monsters, dodging the Reaper, collecting gold and gems, and buying upgrades from vendors during each run.
