What is Vortex: The Gateway?

A dimensional vortex strands you on an alien island in this single-player, open-world survival horror game. You gather supplies, craft equipment, build shelters, and fight or evade wildlife while managing hunger, thirst, and temperature. Story mode centers on escaping the island; survival mode tasks you with keeping an injured friend alive as nighttime attacks intensify.
