What is Audioshield?
In this VR rhythm game, you stand in place and hit incoming orbs with shields. Patterns are generated by analyzing songs from your collection, with cross-body hits, high reaches, and moves using both shields. Each song has online and local leaderboards.
For you if...
- +you enjoy rhythm games built around full-arm movements
- +you like trying automatically generated patterns for different songs
Not for you if...
- −you want carefully hand-authored patterns for every song
- −you prefer games that require little physical effort
What players say
80% of 2,720 reviews are positive
Players praise its value as a workout but criticize uneven matching between orbs and the beat. Recent reviews complain about stalled development and compatibility problems. A recent reviewer also finds loading personal music cumbersome.
