What is EverRail?

In this Early Access survival crafting game, you cross the frozen exomoon Inara in a train you expand and maintain. You scavenge abandoned facilities, fight enemies, craft equipment, and rescue stranded passengers across a procedurally generated world. When you die, another passenger takes your place; running out of train power ends the run.

For you if...

  • +you want survival crafting solo or with friends
  • +you enjoy organizing storage, machinery, and production

Not for you if...

  • −you prefer exploring freely without timers or survival upkeep

Does EverRail use AI-generated content?

Yes. The developers disclose AI-generated content on the game's Steam page:

In EverRail, AI-generated voiceover is used only for machine characters: the train's AI board computer and robot enemies, voices that are artificial in the story itself, which also lets us offer them in multiple languages. Beyond that, our team uses generative AI as a tool to support development, with our artists, designers, and engineers refining and hand-building every asset that makes it into the game.

The statement mentions: VoicesText & translations

Self-reported by the developer under Steam rules: it covers AI content that ships in the game, not tools used to make it. Steam page checked on Oct 27, 2026. How to filter AI games on Steam
