What is Clearance Defence?

You command animated clearance items defending a UK shop after closing in this single-player, isometric tower defense game. Across ten story nights, you build and upgrade makeshift towers, funnel enemies with walls, and manage workers and engineers who produce supplies, deliver ammunition, and repair defenses. Staff rearrange the shelves between nights, changing the battlefield.

Yes. The developers disclose AI-generated content on the game's Steam page:

Clearance Defence is made by one developer. The game design, the levels, the programming and all of the art and animation are made by me or in partnership with freelance contractors. As a self-funded game, I have a very limited budget. I use AI for some of the game's audio, using ElevenLabs from scripts and direction I wrote. I listened to and approved all of it before it went in the game. Nothing is generated while you play. Everything in the game is fixed and was checked by me first.
