What is KYOTO XANADU -the Blooming Phantom-?

You play Kamiya Rei, a transfer student at an academy devoted to conquering Xanadu, in a version of modern Japan where Kyoto is the capital. This single-player action RPG alternates side-scrolling labyrinth exploration with 3D combat inside gates. Outside the labyrinth, you attend classes, build friendships, and visit shops and tourist spots around the city.
