What is Where the Water Tastes Like Wine?

This single-player narrative adventure takes you across a folkloric Depression-era United States to repay a debt by learning people's stories. You travel on a 3D map, collect tales from people you meet, and choose which ones to retell to recurring characters to gain their trust. The game pairs the travel map with hand-drawn 2D illustrations.
