What is Bacteria?

This is a single-player puzzle game based on Conway's Game of Life. You add a limited number of cells to a square grid, then run the simulation to make the pattern stop changing in color mode or disappear in black-and-white mode. You can place individual cells or preset patterns, while higher difficulty restricts the area where you can add them.
