What is Amaranthine?
A side-scrolling space shooter about answering a distress signal from a distant frozen planet. You shoot enemy ships and dodge incoming fire across levels, with permanent death in Legend mode.
For you if...
- +you like finding weapons and upgrading your ship
- +you enjoy replaying arcade shooters to chase high scores
Not for you if...
- −you prefer slower action with less emphasis on reflexes
- −you want cooperative play rather than solo shooting
What players say
89% of 81 reviews are positive
Players praise the precise mouse controls and electronic soundtrack. The short length is a recurring complaint.
