What is War Footing?

You play a defense minister in a single-player, alternate-history Cold War strategy game. Across eight scenarios, weekly turns involve buying equipment, training and deploying units, and balancing military spending with diplomacy and political stability as an invasion approaches. Battles resolve sector by sector based on your army’s readiness, doctrine, equipment, and deployment.
