What is I wanna be The Cat?
In this 2D roguelite, you jump past spikes and fight cat versions of video game characters to claim the title of “The Cat.” Solo runs start with a hundred lives; running out means restarting, but permanent upgrades carry over. Shops sell items, skills, and extra lives, while a separate online mode lets up to eight players race.
For you if...
- +you enjoy demanding jumps and carefully timed movement
- +you want difficulty settings you can change while playing
Not for you if...
- −you want unlimited retries without restarting a run
