What is Rogue Eclipse?
You pilot a starfighter in a single-player, third-person spaceflight roguelike about a war for humanity’s future. You fight enemy fighters and huge warships, enter enemy vessels, and blast through destructible environments. The campaign’s story unfolds across repeated runs as you upgrade and customize your ship.
For you if...
- +you enjoy testing your piloting against large enemy fleets
- +you like science fiction with Arabesque-inspired art
Not for you if...
- −you want multiplayer or cooperative space battles
- −you prefer a campaign without repeated runs
What players say
63% of 51 reviews are positive
Players praise the responsive flight controls and approachable, fast-paced combat. Common complaints concern limited encounter variety, upgrades that make little difference, and the lack of control remapping. Some players also find incoming damage difficult to anticipate or avoid.
