What is Muv-Luv?
A single-player visual novel containing the Extra and Unlimited story arcs. You read scenes and make choices as Takeru's school romance gives way to an alternate world where humanity is at war with alien invaders. The concluding arc, Muv-Luv Alternative, is separate.
