What is Microsoft Maquette?

Microsoft Maquette is a design application used inside a VR headset. You create mock-ups and storyboards using basic shapes, UI icons, imported content, and text annotations. A free Unity add-on transfers your work while preserving materials and object groups.

For you if...

  • +you prefer hands-on spatial design to desktop modeling

Not for you if...

  • −you want structured gameplay instead of open-ended creative work
