This is a game that features characters and details that use pixels.

It's sometimes hard to see the backgrounds and items that are used as well as the people in the game because the pixels blend together. They almost look like LEGOs at times, which can make it hard to see what you're doing when it comes to building. Your goal is to fight as much as possible to defend your land and gather the food and weapons that you need to survive. It's best to explore the land before building so that you get an idea as to what's offered and where the best resources are located.

The game starts with crating a character that you can customize later. You can change the color of the hair, the clothing and access different weapons in the game. Menus for changing details about the character are easy to navigate. There are templates available if you don't want to spend time creating your player. You'll have to explore everything from flowers to wood to collect the items that are needed to make weapons, to eat and to build your shelter. You need to have a substantial shelter in place and a storage bin to hold all of the items that you collect. If you run out of health on your meter, then you die and have to start over. There are options for coming back at different locations, and if you advance before dying, you can come back at that level.
