Euro Truck Simulator lets players drive European trucks across Europe, delivering many types of cargo while racing against the clock. Regional landscapes are faithfully reproduced, including rustic country scenes and several major European cities. The game's developers included meticulous detail both in the cabin and out of it, boosting enjoyment for fans of simulation and truck driving games.

Game Features

Players are tasked with completing a wide range of unique missions, all involving pickup and delivery of cargo. Players who have already tried other popular truck driving simulators are likely to appreciate the chance to drive European designs, and those who are simulation fans will find plenty to pique their interest in the truck driving simulation genre. As players progress, they earn money that can be used to buy more powerful trucks for faster play and enhanced earning power. Inside the truck cabins, players will find a full selection of realistic instruments, including low fuel lights, temperature gauges and other indicators. Throughout the game, excellent graphics drive the action taking place on models of actual European road networks.

Possible Downsides

Euro Truck Simulator is sure to please fans of truck driving games and other simulators, but it probably isn't for everyone. For example, some players may become bored because of the repetitive nature of making deliveries. Although realistic, the sights and sounds can also become monotonous over time. Even with the ability to play one's own music selections on the radio and the option to make illegal deliveries, some players may be left yearning for something more. Finally, players eager to drive on UK roadways may be disappointed to find that they can't begin the game there.
