What is Fuck the Ocean?
This single-player incremental game follows a man who turns against water after getting his sock wet. You click to add sand, hire workers, and upgrade equipment ranging from leaking sandbags to gnome catapults. The campaign spans ten locations, from a puddle to the oceans, and has an ending.
For you if...
- +you enjoy optimizing production through purchases and upgrades
- +you like games that progress while you do other things
Not for you if...
- −you want constant hands-on action rather than idle progress
- −you want an endless campaign rather than a defined endpoint
What players say
87% of 52 reviews are positive
Players praise the humor and steady sense of progression. The main complaints concern resets between locations, which critics say erase upgrades and leave too little lasting progress.
