What is Desktopia: A Desktop Village Simulator?

This 2D city builder places a medieval-style village along the bottom of your screen. You develop a series of settlements along a dangerous road, build facilities, and recruit soldiers to defend them. You can directly control an axe-wielding character to gather resources, fight enemies, and put out fires.
