What is Quake III Arena?

Quake III Arena is a first-person shooter where an ancient alien race pits summoned warriors against one another in gothic and sci-fi arenas. You collect weapons and power-ups during matches against other players or offline bots, with modes including free-for-all, team deathmatch, one-on-one tournaments, and capture the flag. The included Team Arena expansion adds team-based modes and arenas.
