What is Kingdom Ascension?

You play a lord establishing a new domain in a medieval strategy game. You divide limited resources between construction, technology research, and troop recruitment, then choose army compositions and deployments. Troops explore a changing map for ruins and resources, fight to claim territory, and defend your settlement against invasions.
