What is Crest - an indirect god sim?

In this single-player sandbox god game, you oversee an imagined Iron Age civilization in an Afrofuturist world based on African biomes. You assemble pictographic commandments and unlock new words as settlements contend with weather, wildlife, and resource needs. Each new world is different, with no victory condition; it ends permanently if all your followers die.
