What is Mad Merchant?
A single-player incremental management game about surviving a dystopian wasteland aboard a train. You monitor wagon systems, sell mechanical parts at safe havens to fund upgrades, and choose between dangerous shortcuts and longer, safer routes. Turrets attack rogue drones automatically, or you can take direct control.
For you if...
- +you like gradual progression that needs only occasional attention
- +you enjoy weighing travel time against the risk of attack
Not for you if...
- −you expect a detailed economy built around buying and selling
- −you want multiplayer with shared duties aboard a train
What players say
71% of 80 reviews are positive
Players praise the train concept and upgrade loop. Common complaints include shallow systems, slow progress, persistent bugs, and menus that do not work properly. Recent reviews say an update removes resource buying, leaving players to sell goods collected during travel.
