What is hack_me?
hack_me is a linear, single-player hacking simulation where you target company servers to demonstrate that no system is completely secure. You enter commands and use brute-force programs, SQL injectors, and other software to carry out intrusions.
For you if...
- +you like dialogue-heavy games with references to hacker fiction
Not for you if...
- −you want open-ended challenges rather than a prescribed sequence
What players say
69% of 1,688 reviews are positive
Players criticize the hacking as simplistic and unrealistic, often reduced to entering addresses and pressing a button. They also complain that instructions cannot be reread and that the interface lacks copy-and-paste support and the ability to keep multiple windows open.
