What is Kingdoms and Castles?

A single-player city-building simulation about establishing a kingdom in a seasonal world threatened by Viking raiders and dragons. In an open-ended sandbox, you gather resources, manage food, taxes, health, and happiness, then construct block-based castles to defend your settlement.
